The Enerpoint model lands in Germany

04/03/2009 - The Enerpoint model lands in Germany.

The desire to enter the European market, exporting their “business model”, has driven Enerpoint S.p.A., established leader in Italy in the distribution of photovoltaic modules and the production of large solar parks, to open a new branch in Germany, the global leader in the sector of photovoltaic solar energy.

Over the years Enerpoint S.p.A. has consolidated its strengths, making a name for itself in Italy. An elevated degree of service, attention towards the customer and careful selection of the products distributed are combined with  sensitivity towards the environment, the surrounding territory and developing countries.

The German branch will faithfully reflect all the distinctive qualities of the Italian company. Specialised in the distribution of photovoltaic modules and inverters, it will be able to count on famous brands already sold by Enerpoint in Italy, the foremost of which are Schott Solar, Sharp and REC, Fronius and Power One.

The choice to found Enerpoint GmbH stemmed from a desire to diversify the markets in order to better exploit the opportunities offered by the German market. The new company, whose headquarters are in Quedlinburg, approximately 200 km south of Berlin, began operations at the end of January 2009.

But why Quedlinburg exactly? The German town is excellently placed for the objectives set  by Enerpoint GmbH. Moreover, as it lies in a growth area which holds considerable potential for the spread of photovoltaic plants, it is in a strategic position for making the most of the opportunities offered by the market in central-eastern Germany. Moreover, Quedlinburg is well connected to all major German industrial areas.

One of the company prerogatives will be the immediate availability of materials and the rapid delivery of the same, as well as customer care and the adoption of personalised solutions with a strong orientation towards customer satisfaction. Given its professionals’ elevated qualifications and knowledge of the market, the company will also hold specialist training courses for installers.

In line with the business ethic of Enerpoint S.p.A., who have for many years earmarked a share of their profits for  developing countries, financing projects which do not only concern energy, the first to benefit from the presence of Enerpoint GmbH will be the children of the Quedlinburg nursery school.

The birth of this new business project also translates into a message for the local community: let’s make photovoltaics our future!
